The World Tourism Day Trade Fair and Exhibition

The World Tourism Day Trade Fair and Exhibition organized by the Trade, Commerce, and Tourism Department of the Central Province was held on September 27, 2023, under the chairmanship of the Central Province Governor, Mr. Lalith U. Gamage, parallel to the World Tourism Day Celebration with the theme of “Tourism and Green Investment”.

Indian High Commissioner Mrs.S. Akira participated as a special guest, and Chief Secretary of Central Province Ajith Premasinghe, Secretary to the Governor Manjula Madahapola, District Secretary Chandana Thennakoon, and Ministry Secretaries of the Central Provincial Council, heads of departments, entrepreneurs, and others participated in this event.

The trade fair was organized in the exhibition in the fields of green investment, business development, and tourism education. Various organizations and associations related to the tourism sector and governmental and non-governmental organizations participated in the exhibition.

During the Tourism Day festival, three tourism YouTube channel activists engaged in a mission to promote tourism places in the Central Province by providing special support using social media networks were also evaluated.

Panwila Divisional Secretariat is implementing a special project as a step to develop and promote a tourist spot in the vicinity of the respective divisions with the aim of properly identifying the tourism diversity in the Central Province and thereby contributing to the province and the national economy. The website" was launched last 27th at Sahas Uyana Premises in Kandy under the chairmanship of the Central Province Governor, Mr. Lalith U.Gamage.

ලෝක සංචාරක දින සැමරුමට සමගාමීව "සංචාරණය හා හරිත ආයෝජන" යන තේමාව යටතේ මධ්‍යම පළාත් වෙළඳ, වාණිජ හා සංචාරක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මගින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන ලෝක සංචාරක දින ප්‍රදර්ශනය සහ අලෙවි පොළ මධ්‍යම පළාත් අණ්ඩුකාර ලලිත්. යූ ගමගේ මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් මහනුවර සහස් උයන පරිශ්‍රයේ සැප්තැම්බර් 27 වන දින පැවැත්විණ. 

මධ්‍යම පළාත් වෙළද, වාණිජ හා සංචාරක දෙපාර්තමේන්තු අධ්‍යක්ෂ මිහිරාන් බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා ඉන්දියානු මහකොමසාරිස් එස්. අකීරා මහත්මිය විශේෂ ආරාධිතයෙක් ලෙස සහභාගිවූ අතර , මධ්‍යම පළාත් ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් අජිත් ප්‍රේමසිංහ, ආණ්ඩුකාර ලේකම් මංජුලා මඩහපොල, මහනුවර මහා දිසාපති චන්දන තෙන්නකෝන් යන මහත්ම මහත්මින් සහ අමාත්‍යාංශ ලේකම්වරුන් , අධ්‍යක්ෂවරුන් ඇතුළු රාජ්‍ය නිළධාරීන් පිරිසක් ආරම්භක අවස්ථාවට සහභාගී විය.

හරිත ආයෝජනය, ව්‍යාවසායකත්ව සංවර් ධන , සංචාරක අධ්‍යාපනය යන අංශ ඔස්සේ මෙම ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ වෙළද කුටි සංවිධානය වී පැවති අතර සංචාරක කේෂ්ත්‍රය ට සම්බන්ධ විවිධ සංවිධාන හා සංගම් රාශියක් සහ රාජ්‍ය හා රාජ්‍ය නොවන සංවිධාන වල දායකත්වය ලද අතර විවිධ ආහාරපාන ඇතුලත් වෙළඳ ප්‍රදර්ශනයක්ද මීට ඇතුලත් විය.

සංචාරක දින උළෙලේ දී මධ්‍යම පළාතේ සංචාරක ස්ථාන ප්‍රවර්ධනය සදහා සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ජාලා භාවිතයෙන් විශේෂී සහයක් ලබාදෙමින් මෙහෙවරක නිරත සංචාරක යූටිබ් නාලිකා ක්‍රියාකාරීන් තිදෙනකු ඇගැයීමද සිදුවිය.

මධ්‍යම පළාතේ පවතින සංචාරක විභාවතාවයන් නිසි ලෙස හදුනා ගෙන ඒ තුලින් පළාතේ සහ ජාතික ආර් ථිකයට ඉහල දායකත්වයක් ලබා දීමේ අරමුණින් ඒ ඒ කොට්ඨාශ ආශ්‍රිතව පවතින සංචාරක ස්ථානයක් සංවර්ධනය කොට ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීමේ පියවරක ලෙස පන්විල ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ විශේෂ ව්‍යාපෘතියක් ක්‍රියාවට නංවන අතර එහි එක් පියවරක් ලෙස "පන්විල සංචාරක වෙබ් අඩවිය" පසුගිය 27 මධ්‍යම පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර ලලිත් යු ගමගේ මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් මහනුවර සහස් උයන පරිශ්‍රයේදී උඩුගත කරනු ලැබීය.
