Visit Kandy

The Visit Kandy trade fair and cultural concert, organized annually by the Central Provincial Department of Trade, Commerce, and Tourism in conjunction with the Kandy Esala Perahera, was inaugurated on August 29 at the Kandy City Centre (KCC) under the chairmanship of the Central Province Governor, Mr. Lalith U Gamage.

This exhibition is aimed at local and foreign tourists who visit Kandy. The event lasted for two days (29 and 30) and consisted of many stalls, displayed local traditional arts and crafts, and was colorful with various cultural performances. The cultural show was performed by the Central Provincial Dancing Group. 

This event was successfully conducted under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Mihiran Bandara, the director of Central Provincial Department of Trade, Commerce and Tourism. Ministry secretaries of the Central Provincial Council, heads of departments, officials of the Association of Tourist Guides Lectures, entrepreneurs, and others participated in this event.

මධ්‍යම පලාත් වෙළද, වාණිජ හා සංචාරක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් මහනුවර ඇසළ පෙරහැරට සමගාමීව, වාර්ෂිකව සංවිධානය කරන Visit Kandy වෙළඳ ප්‍රදර්ශනය හා සංස්කෘතික ප්‍රසංගය මෙවර මහනුවර කේ සී සී (KCC) ආයතනයේදී, ඉකුත්දා (2023.08.29) මධ්‍යම පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නීතිඥ ලලිත් යූ. ගමගේ මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් ආරම්භ කෙරිණ.

මහනුවර නගරයට පිවිසෙන දේශීය හා විදේශීය සංචාරකයින් ඉලක්ක කොට ගනිමින් පැවැත්වෙන මෙම ප්‍රදර්ශනය දෙදිනක් (29,30) පුරා පැවති අතර මෙහිදී අලෙවි කුටි, ප්‍රදර්ශනාත්මක අංග සහ දැනුම ලබාගත හැකි අංශ රැසකින් සමන්විත වූ අතර සංස්කෘතික විවිධ ප්‍රසංගයකින්ද මෙය වර්ණවත් විය. මධ්‍යම පළාත් නර්තන කණ්ඩායම විසින් සංස්කෘතික ප්‍රසංගය ඉදිරිපත් කෙරිණි. 

මධ්‍යම පළාත් වෙළද, වාණිජ හා සංචාරක දෙපාර්තමේන්තු අධ්‍යක්ෂ මිහිරාන් බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා මධ්‍යම පළාත් සභාවේ අමාත්‍යාංශ ලේකම්වරුන්, දෙපාර්තමේන්තු ප්‍රධානීන්, සංචාරක මාර්ගෝපෙද්ශක කතිකාචාර්යවරැන්ගේ සංගමයේ නිලධාරීන්, ව්‍යවසායකයින් ඇතුළු විශාල පිරිසක් සහභාගී විය.
