As March approaches, a yellow and pink blanket fall to the ground, providing an exquisite sight in Kandy. The gardens of the University of Peradeniya premises blossom with both "Cats Claw" (Uncaria tomentosa) and "Robarosia" (Tabebuia Rosea) plants, and all-around Kandy City (especially the lakeside) are covered by pink blankets of Roberosia.
