- Horton Plains
The Horton Plains is home to a diverse range of wildlife. There are a few leopards, sambar deer, and wild boar in the area, but you'd be lucky to see a boar or leopard. The shaggy bear monkey (or purple-faced langur) is occasionally seen in the forest along the Ohiya road, as well as in the woods near World's End (listen for a wheezy grunt). The actual distance from Glenrock to World's End and Horton Plains is 62 kilometers (one way)." The best time to visit is in the early morning (between 6 and 10 a.m.), before the clouds roll in.
