Travel on Kandy – Nuwara Eliya main toad, pass Ramboda town and proceed one kilometre towards Nuwara Eliya, to reach this 100-meter-high fall which can be seen from the main road. The fall is formed on Puna Oya, a tributary of the Kothmale Oya. It is also known as Pundaluoya Ella. 


To get close to the fall itself, one has to negotiate a tortuous path. As such it is a tedious task, especially for foreign tourists to get close to this waterfall.
