The farm, known as ‘Little New Zealand, is situated 17 kms from the Nuwara Eliya town, on the Nuwara Eliya - Pattipola Road. This dairy farm is one of the main attractions in the area. 


Established in 1940, the farm complex with the largest pasture in the country is situated in a pristine and tranquil environment. It comprises the Ambewela and New Zealand Farms, with the finest breeds of dairy cows in Sri Lanka. Its products include powdered milk, fresh milk, cheese and yoghurt marketed with brands such as Milco and Highland.
