Known as ‘the Beauty of Nuwara Eliya’ this fall is situated 2 km away from Nuwara Eliya town, on Kandapola Road. 


The fall is said to derive its name from the tragic tale of two lovers who could not have their parents’ consent for marriage, decided to immortalize their love by leaping from the top of the fall to their death.
The location attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists, particularly in the month of April.
