The world renowned Nuwara Eliya Golf Course is situated in the heart of the town. Elevation above sea level is 2,170 feet. Established in 1889, it was known formerly as ‘Brocas Mead’. The old Club House was a pavilion-style bungalow, converted later to the present-day structure. The 117-year-old, 18-hole, 90-acre Course is the best in Asia.
