This 97-foot waterfall is the 19th highest in Sri Lanka, with an elevation of 1,100 feet above sea level, 32 km away from Nuwara Eliya town. It is situated near the 20th Milepost on Talawakele - Nuwara Eliya A7 Road.


The falls is named after a pioneer English coffee planter called Devon, whose plantation is situated nearby.
