Travel on Matale-Dambulla Road, pass Aluwihare and turn left to Biridewela Road, proceed 4 kms and turn to Asgiriyawatte Road (aka Matale Batahirawatte) around Man Bungalow. Proceed about 5 kms to this area, situated in the Galaudahena GN Division.


The area is a high plain on a mountain peak. The Nona Ella, a stunning waterfall originating here, enhances the beauty of the surroundings. Visitors to this area are treated with breathtaking views of spice gardens, tea estates, mountain ranges, as well as paddy fields and reservoirs with their dams down below.
