By traveling 11km from Thalatuoya town to Moragolla and continuing another 3km, can reach this beautiful reservoir. 5-6 acres in extent, it is surrounded by a rich ecosystem replete with great natural beauty.


This very ancient reservoir was destroyed around 1966, and renovated in 1970. It irrigates about 200 acres of agricultural land in the Godamunna West, Butawatte, Kapuliyadda West and East Grama Niladhari Divisions.
