Language course
The Central Provincial Department of Trade, Commerce and Tourism has introduced this course with the aim of developing the language ability and knowledge of the young people who have completed their school education targeting various employment opportunities in the tourism sector and to provide an opportunity to study foreign languages for those who are employed in various jobs in the tourism sector. The foreign language course consists of three languages (03) namely Chinese, German and French. The course is conducted by lecturers with a thorough knowledge of languages.
Course Details
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must be living within Central Province.
Course fee:
The course fee is LKR 2500.00. The course fee should be paid at the commencing of the program. The commencement of the program will be informed in writing.
Course duration:
The course duration of the foreign language course is 60 hrs. (3-4 months) and 80% of attendance is compulsory.
Venue:
Mahinda Rajapaksha Information Communication Technology Centre and Library, Gatambe, Peradeniya
Course Evaluation:
The final evaluation will include both written and oral tests.
Certificate:
The certificate will be issued by the Department of Trade Commerce and Tourism.
