Kandy heritage city with Tooth Relic Temple

 Kandy  The Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a famous Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka. The Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, the temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha, is possibly the most sacred Buddhist shrine in the world. The Kandy city is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO, in part due to this temple.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress,Dambulla.

 Sigiriya  Sigiriya (the Lion Rock) which is a rock nearly 200 meters high is situated in the Matale district of the Central Province. Sigiriya is one of the best and wonderful conserved examples of ancient urban planning in Sri Lanka and it is the most popular tourist attraction.

 Dambulla Cave Temple  Dambulla cave temple, the largest and the best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka is the most popular tourist attraction. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Lord Buddha and his life.

Central Highland

 Central Highland  Horton Plains National Park and Knuckles Conservation Forest are protected areas in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Horton Plains National Park is situated in Nuwara Eliya district and the Knuckles Conservation Forestand is situated in Matale Distict in the Central province. These plateaus are rich in biodiversity and many species which are endemic to these regions. Both areas are popular tourist destinations.
