A special program was conducted in Neeldannahinna to encourage the production of different hand made products using "Hana" with parallel to the World Tourism Day which was celebrated on 27th of September under the theme of Tourism and Rural Development. This program was organised jointly by the Department of Trade, Commerce and Tourism - Central Province and Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority. 18 trainees partipated for this program. By this training it was expected to encourage the rural entrepreneurs while introducing them new market opportunities and to provide the necessary guidance and training.
